U/19's WIN CLOSE ONE
The Young Roos came up against West Coburg, and did enough to get the win. It was a low scoring contest with the Young Roos leading at every change, and getting over the line by 8 points. This weekend the lads can end their season on a winning note as they come up against Keilor Park at home. Good work boys.
Best on - D. Cunningham

ROO's 2's FADE AT THE VALLEY
I was a tales of 2 halves at Ormond Park, the 2's winning the first half before Moonee Valley powered away in the second half. The Roos took the early advantage ending the first term up by a goal, and extending that to 2 goals by halftime. Moonee Valley surged in the third quarter kicking 6.1 to the Roos 2.1 and took the lead by 12 points at the last change. The Roos could only manage 1 goal in the last, while Moonee Valley piled on another 6 to run out victors by 47 points. Bad luck boys lets hope next week is better.
Best on - B. Cuffe

Kangas 9.5 - 59 def by Moonee Valley 16.10 - 106

Goals: A. Walsh 3, B. Little 3, B. Cuffe, H. Knott, J. Cuffe

SENIOR MEN DEPTH TESTED
The depth of the playing group was tested on Saturday, and it passed. The Roo Boys had to fight hard to get the win over Moonee Valley, behind by a goal at the end of the first quarter. A goal for goal second term saw the Roo's go into the sheds 1point in front. The break did a world of good for the Roo Boys, kicking 4 unanswered goals in the third term stretched the lead out to 27 points. Moonee valley stage a fight back in the last but the Kangas were good enough to keep them at bay running the game out winners by 29.
Best on - M. Welsh
